ARTCLB‘s seemingly random/unknown Baby Jesus Disco Christmas mixtape caught my attention for several reasons. First, yes, its name is fucking outstanding. But along with that, it was posted on Facebook by the Cool Kids, who tend to share some killer new music with their fans. I figured their co-sign was more than enough for me to click a few times, wait five minutes, and hear some new tunes. So I did just that and stumbled upon a gangster-ish Christmas project featuring chopped up holiday songs, surprisingly warm crooner tracks, and more than a few weed references. I don’t really know the artists involved, such as Benny Cassette, Corey Notes, or Audra Avalon, but I’m going to check for them after this.
